In an interview with Teen Vogue magazine, the Vanessa Abrams of The CW's "Gossip Girl" confessed that her relationship with co-star comes naturally.
"It can be a little awkward when all of a sudden [you have feelings for] someone you'd call to talk about a different boyfriend," the 24-year-old admitted before explaining further about her romance with the Chuck Bass depicter. "But there wasn't a lot of thinking and talking. It kind of just happened. We had fun together, and we were like, 'All right, let's see where this goes.' "
Featured as the cover girl of Teen Vogue's February 2010 issue which will be available on newsstands January 5, 2010, the "Fired Up" actress admitted that she has been in a relationship with Westwich for more than a year. Gushing further about the 22-year-old actor, she said, "He's a really rad guy. He's awesome and smart and talented and adorable, and we make each other laugh."
During the interview, Jessica Szohr also talked about being good friend with her other co-stars in the popular drama series. "We're all young and everyone was new to New York, so we've had so much fun," she said. "I've heard horror stories from other actors about egos, people who don't get along, but we're all friends. There are people from this job who will be in my life for a very, very long time."
