“I don”t know if I”ll marry again,” says Reese Witherspoon

By ANI on Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Reese Witherspoon, who is divorced from actor husband Ryan Phillipe, has said that she’’s not sure she will marry again.

Witherspoon, who is currently dating Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal, divorced husband Phillipe after he was romantically linked to Hollywood actress Abbie Cornish.

“At the moment, I am not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again,” The Daily Telegraph Newspaper quoted Witherspoon, as telling The Daily Mail.

The ‘The Man In The Moon’ actress stated that her daughter Ava with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe is her major priority.

“Being a parent. I wanted a family, but before I had kids I”d never held a baby. I”d never even done any babysitting. So the first time I held Ava was the first time I”d ever held a baby in my life.

“There’’s the fear of not being a good mum. Now I just try not to look too far into the future. I try to take it day by day. It gets terrifying if you look at the big picture, so I try to keep it simple,” Witherspoon said. (ANI)

'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy Perry saved her boyfriend Travis McCoy's life after he hit "rock bottom".

Katy Perry saved her boyfriend's life.

Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy claims the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer was so compassionate during a self-destructive time in his life he managed to pull himself back from the brink.

He said: "There was this really, really dark point about two years ago where I just hit rock bottom. And I called Katy who was in Los Angeles at the time and said to her, 'Do you mind coming out and keeping me company? I'm not in a good state of mind right now.'

"And I honestly think had she not come - I really don't think I would be here right now. Without even talking, she just listened. I truly believe that saved my life."

Travis - who has been dating the brunette beauty since 2005 - has previously said the pair share a language which only they understand and enjoy morning cuddling sessions.

He added: "It's kind of silly, but I love it. And also just goofing around. It just works."

Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty want to star in a film together in a bid to win over critics of their controversial romance.

Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty want to star in a film together.

The 'Factory Girl' star - who was recently reunited with the married 'Brothers and Sisters' actor following a brief split - hopes working together will win over critics of their romance.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Her advisers are warning how unpopular that would be.

"People haven't taken to them as a pair due to the way they got together. They fear people will find it a bit too sickly - as though they are rubbing his wife's face in it.

"But Sienna insists it could be movie gold and is looking for a script."

Sienna, 26, was widely criticised when she began dating 33-year-old Balthazar - who has four children with his estranged wife Rosetta - with people blasting her for romancing a married man.

Following the news of the affair, Rosetta fled the US taking their children with her.

Sienna and Balthazar separated last month, allegedly over her love of partying, but reconciled last week.

The couple were spotted walking her dogs in London's Maida Vale district last week, confirming they were an item again.

An onlooker said: "We drove past them and they looked very together. Sienna looked really pretty and so happy."

Now Carly wants a baby... and she's 'dominant' about that

By Mail On Sunday Reporter
Last updated at 12:58 AM on 30th November 2008

She spent much of her 14 days in the jungle tearfully complaining that she was homesick.
So it was no shock when Carly Zucker became the third contestant to be evicted from I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!
The model and fiancee of Chelsea footballer Joe Cole was voted off despite displaying her trim figure in a bikini.

Viewers took pity on her after she moaned about missing her family and struggled with her fear of insects as she tried to sleep on the forest floor.
She admitted that the experience had been tough and said she was ‘unfortunately’ happy to be leaving.
‘I just really struggled,’ she said.
‘It isn’t exactly how I imagined it to be. I’m a family person so I really missed my partner and my family a lot.’
Carly, 24, revealed on the show that she and Joe, 27, hope to conceive their first child on their honeymoon next June.
‘Ideally I’d like to get pregnant on the last day of the honeymoon,’ she said.
‘But then I’d probably be pregnant for the World Cup in South Africa [12 months later] or will have just given birth.’
The couple, who have been dating for six years, live together in a ?5million Surrey mansion.

But Carly confided that she dreamed of a townhouse in London, while Joe was keen for them to stay in the country.
She said: ‘He thinks it’s right for the kids but we’ll see. He’s dominant about that and I’m dominant I’d like to stay in London.’ It’s possible that she may have meant ‘adamant’.
Carly followed TV presenter Dani Behr and politician Robert Kilroy-Silk off the show.
One celebrity will be evicted every night until the final on Friday.

Sienna Miller can’t stand the strain of Balthazar Getty’s divorce

Sienna Miller and lover Balthazar Getty’s much talked about relationship seem to be taking a turn for the worse according to reports. Sienna the star of the Edge of Love had been dating Balthazar the Brothers and Sisters actor since the beginning of the year.

The pair’s relationship had been hugely publicized after Balthazar had not started his divorce proceedings with his estranged wife Rosetta whom he has four children with.

A source close to the couple said that the relationship was based on animal attraction, and now that they are having to deal with the more serious stuff like divorce and what country they should reside, its making Sienna increasingly frustrated with Balthazar as she wants to live in London and he wishes to stay in Italy to be close to his children and doesn’t seem to be progressing with the divorce from Rosetta.

The couple has also been arguing about Sienna’s party lifestyle, the actress is only 26 and loves to party in London. However Balthazar is a former alcohol and drug addict and is teetotal now according to the source.

Putting the kids on ice

By KATE BENSON - SMH | Thursday, 23 October 2008

It cost more than A$3000 and was one of the more harrowing experiences of her life, but for Lesley Major it has meant another 10 years of breathing space while she waits for Mr Right.

Ms Major, 38, is one of a handful of Australian women who have chosen to freeze their eggs in a bid to beat mother nature and the man drought - but the technology is still so experimental that no fertility clinic in Sydney will agree to it.

The process is legal but fertility experts say the shell of the human egg is too thin and fragile to survive the freezing process, with some studies showing as few as 2 per cent become embryos - and only then if the woman is under 35 when she has them frozen.

Most clinics will allow women who are facing infertility from chemotherapy or radiotherapy to store their eggs, but only two in Australia offer the service, not covered by Medicare, to women considered "socially infertile" - those without a partner or wanting to delay motherhood to further their careers.

One in seven babies in Australia is now born to first-time mothers aged over 35 and it has become more accepted for women to take longer to choose a life partner.

But this cultural shift has caused many to believe medicine will save them when they start a family in their late 30s or early 40s, says Warren DeAmbrosis, a director of Queensland Fertility Group.

His clinic claims to have had more pregnancies from frozen eggs than any other in Australia, with a 70 per cent post-thaw survival rate, a 60 percent fertilisation rate and a 30 percent pregnancy rate for women under 37.

"I spend most of my day with women in tears because they have left their run too late - my heart goes to them," Dr DeAmbrosis says.

"Obviously having frozen eggs is better than having no eggs at all, but they need to know that age is the biggest factor in infertility by a mile. If I have a single girl come to me at 39 or 40, it's just not worth her while."

Eggs at Dr DeAmbrosis's clinic are slow frozen but at some international clinics they can now be snap-frozen in a process called vitrification, where water molecules do not have time to form ice crystals.

Developed about three years ago, it has a 90 percent post-thaw survival rate and a slightly higher pregnancy rate but still not high enough to convince Sydney fertility clinics.

"At this stage, we still see the technology as experimental and we have an ethical dilemma in taking money from a woman when there is very little chance of success," said fertility expert Anne Clark.

"I definitely feel a bit uncomfortable telling women that this will give them a chance."

Peter Illingworth, president of the Fertility Society of Australia, agreed, saying women should not bank on egg freezing alone to have a family.

"In the United States and Japan they have huge egg donation programs where thousands are frozen and thawed within a few months, putting their success rates up, but in Australia, we freeze very few and we don't thaw them for years so most people have no idea whether it will work or not."

About 500 babies have been born worldwide from frozen eggs with no increased risk yet recorded but at Melbourne IVF fewer than 20 single women have had their eggs frozen because the clinic prefers to "be quiet and cautious" about the procedure in its early days.

"We certainly don't promote it because we don't see it as a set-and-forget insurance policy for women," says clinical research director Kate Stern.

For Ms Major, though, it was a chance she was willing to take.

At 36, she had a great job, plenty of friends, a supportive family and a loving boyfriend nine years her junior.

Neither was ready for children and Ms Major wasn't prepared to let her biological clock dictate the direction of the fledgling relationship.

"I know so many women around my age who start dating a guy and within months they are talking about having children.

"It's as if we all wake up one day at 35 and go, 'Holy shit, I forgot to have kids,' and then we're forced into making decisions. It frightens men and puts enormous pressure on the relationship. I just didn't want that."

But the process, which involved myriad medical tests and three weeks of hormone injections, proved far more confronting than she anticipated.

"It's not the easy ride people may think it is. I sat in the waiting room at the fertility clinic alone, feeling very singular.

"You are surrounded by couples, some of the women are quite distraught and I just felt so alone. I really had to reassess my values before I went into it but also be pragmatic about getting my bases covered."

Eighteen months later, with 14 eggs in the freezer, she is single again and living in Darwin. But she has set herself a deadline of 42 to find a suitable partner before discarding the eggs.

"I'm not the type of person who will have kids just because I can. I want a family of my own, a husband, a father.

"I'm the complete romantic so if I don't find the right person within the next few years, I'll let the eggs go.

"For now, though, I sometimes forget I have them until the bill arrives and I think, 'Ah, a postcard from my kids saying, Mum, please send money'."

Ashley Tisdale's Zac surprise

Ashley Tisdale is "amazed" Zac Efron has never been attracted to her.

The 23-year-old actress - who stars alongside Zac in the 'High School Musical' film franchise - insists the pair have always been just good friends.

She said: "I've never been attracted to Zac, and he's never been attracted to me - which is even more amazing!

"He always says I look hot, and I'm like, 'Aw, thanks Zac.' But really, it's more like siblings than a flirty relationship - he's seriously like my brother."

While Ashley does not see Zac as a potential boyfriend, she has found some uses for him.

She said: "It's cool to have someone who's completely honest with you, who can give you a guy's opinion. And if I have a problem, I know I can call him whenever."

The actress also admitted she would never consider dating a jealous man because she had to work with so many good looking boys on the 'High School Musical' films.

She added to Seventeen magazine: "I'm always surrounded by good-looking guys, like Zac Efron, so I have to be with someone who's not going to get jealous about any of that, or when I'm kissing somebody in a scene."

Katy Perry: 'I Have Kissed a Girl"

Katy Perry says she has kissed a girl - but insists she isn't a lesbian.

Perry, 23, sings the lyrics "I kissed a girl and I liked it" in her smash hit single I Kissed a Girl -- but she is certain that women aren't to her taste, and she is happy with her boyfriend.

She says, "I have kissed a girl, but I'm not a lesbian. I have a boyfriend. I just didn't want to sing another typical relationship song. Nobody told me to sing the song.

"It wasn't done for anyone else's satisfaction. People have sung about all sorts of things in pop. Look at Prince and Madonna."

Despite reports to the contrary, Katy insists her parents are overjoyed at her success.

She added, "They have their opinions about some of my songs, but in general they are happy for me. They come to my gigs and show support.

"My upbringing was strict in that I wasn't allowed to listen to New Kids On The Block, but it wasn't horrible. There were just a few weird rules."

Katy is currently dating Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy.

When flexing meets flirting

On a recent evening in Toronto, Jacque (pronounced Jackie) Walters, Extreme Fitness's hopped-up VP of group fitness, a super-ripped woman with a head covered in tiny braids, stood behind a metal table covered with handwritten name cards. Anchored to the table was a bouquet of balloons marking this as the meeting spot for participants in the latest dating trend known as fitness speed-dating. This was going down at Extreme Fitness's Bay and Bloor location; the gym had partnered with fastlife.ca, which specializes in speed dating. Participants had signed up for the class in advance.

Behind the table was the glassed-in room where the event was to occur. It had minimal equipment (hand weights, a set of boxing gloves, a lone stability ball), making it evident that while this was a gym, no sweating would transpire. Rather, the rules of engagement would see men and women rotating through stations while executing, for instance, jumping jacks and making chit-chat that might lead to mutual yeses on a scorecard.

This differs from traditional speed-dating, which takes place in a bar with good lighting and a drink. You chat with the guy for five or six minutes, a bell goes off and you jot down your conclusion, yes or no, determining whether or not you can overlook the facial twitch, say, or the unibrow -- i. e., will you allow this individual the courtesy of a few hours from your precious singleton existence that is surely hurtling toward childlessness and death, as your mother is quick to remind you, or will you dismiss him as just one more sop trying to get into your pants. Just askin'.

Having never speed dated, either traditionally or in a gym setting, I'd imagined there would be an air of mystery to the conceit. We would make enigmatic entrances: the guys streaming in through one door, the gals through another -- like at an orthodox synagogue. Eventually, we would convene for a night of flirting.

And it would go down in an environment laden with good old-fashioned duplicity and vice: dim lighting (for flawless skin), hooch (for conversation) and Spanx sausage casing (for ensuring your dress size goes from an eight to a six).

My fantasy fits neither version of speed dating. The peacocks among us who love the artifice of fashion will find gym dating disappointing. Unless you've been sleeping with someone for a very long time and love that person -- battery-acid morning breath and all -- a stranger's sweat isn't sexy, nor are flaming red nylon tearaway pants, which certainly can be forgiven, but only once the heart has been won.

Half an hour before the fitness/ dating event begins, the first candidate appears at the metal table. Wearing a uniform more suited to a job interview (ironed slacks, button-down collar), he talks to Jacque, then is never seen again. Ditto for Disappearing Dude No. 2, who has the pallor of luncheon meat and the slouch of the Springfield Nuclear Plant's Mr. Burns.

But hope arrives in the form or Ali, a cute kick-boxer, and baby-faced Jonathan, a former football player turned kinesiology student, who looks about 20 (turns out he's 23). Other men arrive, all pleasant, but when it comes to romance, if I can't imagine jumping in the sack or at the very least having a mind-shag of a conversation, I can't be bothered.

Dannii on... abuse from Girls Aloud

At the time, Cheryl bitched: “I think Dannii Minogue should get all her plastic surgery reduced.

“She doesn’t look natural. I don’t think men find her attractive.”

But gracious Dannii said: “At that time I think they were saying something bad about everyone.

“Whether that was their Press thing, or they were just young, I don’t know. It’s long forgotten.”

She also said the pair have bonded over their love of music — and revealed they want to give the show a more modern feel.

She added: “We both want to try and change the show a bit.

“We both want to not have Unchained Melody covers a million times again.

A ship-shape Kate joins her Prince in the Caribbean

After a month onboard a warship Prince William has found another boat to sail on - and this one is much more cosy.

With his brunette girlfriend Kate Middleton by his side the Prince spent the day floating around the Caribbean in blazing sunshine on a small speedboat. The pair were alone apart from a few members of staff and seemed delighted to be back together.

Kate, 26, showed off her athleticism by donning a green lifevest and white hot pants and wakeboarding behind the fast-moving boat. William watched admiringly from the safety of the deck as she sped along.
He then joined her in an inflatable dingy which was towed along behind the boat. The loved-up pair screamed in delight as water sprayed into their faces.

After spending their energy the couple relaxed in the sunshine, with Kate showing off her toned body in a halterneck black-and-white bikini.

A royal source told the Sun: 'It's the first time they have been seen together for two-and-a-half years. It will intnsify suggestions of an engagement.'

Kate flew out to meet William for a two-week break following the end of his naval posting. They are believed to be staying in a villa on the island of Mustique, just a short hop by plane from where William’s ship, the Iron Duke, is moored.

Mindful of the row over his use of an RAF helicopter to take him to his cousin’s stag party earlier this year, Clarence House stressed that William paid for all his flights to and from the Caribbean.

He flew out of Gatwick early last month and was then transferred to the Iron Duke by military helicopter. The 26-year-old spent four weeks onboard the ship to familiarise himself with the Royal Navy in preparation for his future role as head of the armed forces.

It was the longest period of time he has been parted from Miss Middleton, 26, since they began dating at St Andrew’s University more than five years ago. A source said: ‘Kate is desperate to see William and has been counting the days.’

The couple have already enjoyed two holidays this year – a ski trip to Klosters and a lengthy stay in May in another villa on Mustique, shortly before the prince began his naval attachment.

Jimmy Choo boss Tamara Mellon is reportedly moving to Los Angeles to be with boyfriend of nearly a year, Christian Slater.

The couple have both been largely based out of London since they started dating in August last year and earlier this year were said to be looking to buy a house together in the city - but now Christian’s career has pulled him back to the US.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Christian is making a new TV show called My Own Worst Enemy in LA.

“He and Tamara can’t bear to be apart for long, so she is moving to LA to be with him and will be living at his pad.

“Tamara is currently holidaying with friends in the South of France - but she will travel to LA to join Christian next week.”

'I DID cheat on Andy,' admits Michelle Heaton as she introduces her new boyfriend

Former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton has wasted no time moving on from her ill-fated marriage to Andy Scott Lee.

Just after a month the pair split, the 27-year-old has revealed she's now dating Dublin-based Hugh Hanley and has already posted cosy couple shots on her Facebook page.

Michelle has also admitted to being unfaithful during her relationship with Scott Lee, a former member of boyband 3SL.
She says: 'I cheated on Andy on holiday in Marbella last year. It was a snog in a nightclub but Andy's saying that I tried to deny it but that's not true.

'It was on the last night of the holiday and the day I came home I told him. I felt sick with guilt and worry. I won't blame the alcohol but it was stupid and drunken.'

But she denies claims made by Scott Lee in a Sunday paper that she had an affair with actor Matt Di Angelo.
She told OK! magazine: 'I didn't sleep with Matt. The only thing I did wrong was that I found him really attractive and cute - which woman wouldn't - and as a married woman I shouldn't be thinking this.

'But nothing happened because Matt was completely mad about [Strictly Come Dancing star] Flavia.'

Michelle also denied reports of romantic liaisons with former Big Brother contestants Ziggy Lichman and Liam McGough.

Of her new boyfriend, she says: 'I started dating him shortly after Andy sold his story. I'd been asked out before Andy sold his story but with that action I felt free and I felt single.'

Heaton and Scott-Lee married in 2006 in a lavish winter Wonderland themed wedding, which was covered by a celebrity weekly magazine.

Guests included Andy's sister, Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee, glamour model Jordan, former Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus, Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding and Liz McClarnon of Atomic Kitten.

After they wed, Scott-Lee revealed they had signed a prenuptial agreement.

He said at the time: 'Obviously Michelle is more well off than I am and it's also to protect the property I have with my brother. Whatever we buy together will be split according to the contributions we make. It’s a wise move.'

He added: 'Hopefully it will be forever, but you never know.'

Didn't take Sienna Miller long did it?

Sienna Miller might be rushing things with her latest lover Balthazar Getty if reports that she is moving in with the married man are true.

You would think she'd be off the dating scene for a while as she only split from her fiancé Rhys Ifans a few weeks ago but rumour has it that she wants to get serious with father of four Getty.

The Brothers & Sisters actor and Sienna are rumoured to have started to get close in May - even though the 26-year-old was still in a relationship with Ifans.

A Mirror source revealed: "They began meeting in Prague and that was when the chemistry started and he began wooing her.

"She had a boyfriend and it didn't immediately turn physical but there was something there.

"This behaviour is typical Sienna. She loves the power of being able to take a man off another woman."

Getty is heir to a £25billion family fortune so they could buy any mansion they wanted...he can certainly offer her a lot more money wise compared to her famous ex's Rhys Ifans, Jude Law and Daniel Craig.

The Mirror speculates that Getty invited the Stardust actress to move in with him after they returned from a break in Italy.

Their source revealed: "Before they went on holiday Sienna was staying over at Balti's place all the time. His wife and four children had moved out so they took full advantage.

"She doesn't really want to move into the family home because of all the history with his ex wife, so they are planning to buy somewhere new. But her friends are worried she's rushing into it."

Pop: Angelina Jolie Gives Birth, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon

By Lynda Johnson
Jul 1, 2008

Tuesday morning pop is full of speculation from the A-list from Jake Gyllenhaal to Angelina Jolie. Jake and his best gal Reese Witherspoon may be moving in together and some reports claim that they adorable couple is headed for the altar. Will Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon marry? Angelina Jolie surely isn't going to marry her baby daddy Brad Pitt but she is going to give birth to twins sometime. Is today the day? There are reports that Angelina Jolie has given birth.
Pop One: There appears to be no slowing down the speculation that it is getting very serious between Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon. Of course that seems quite logical as they have been dating for some time and even from paparazzi photos they seem like a good couple that really cares and dotes over Reese's two kids. But as the two really don't seek publicity, a wedding would be interesting. Will they sneak off for a quiet ceremony or invite all of their friends and try to outsmart the paparazzi and the press?

***

Pop Two: Angelina Jolie is ready to give birth to the twins or she might have already popped the two little ones out. As usual we will be the last to know, but reports are all over the place with some saying yes and others saying no. Closer Magazine in France reported early this AM in the United States that Angelina went into labor on Monday night and popped out the twin chosen ones this morning. Is it true? See Pop Three.

Pop Three: In Touch Weekly reports this at about 1:00 p.m. on the east coast. "Despite recent reports, Angelina Jolie has not yet given birth to her twins with Brad Pitt. In Touch has learned that the Wanted star did check into the Hospital Lenval's Santa Maria clinic in Nice, France on June 30. "Ms. Jolie came to the hospital last night as part of a pre-planned rest period, before she gives birth," Nadine Bauer, spokeswoman for the hospital tells In Touch. "The visit has been planned for a long time, there are no complications. She is just resting" Bauer adds. Angelina's babies are expected to be delivered by French doctor Michele Sussmann and her regular OBGYN Jason Rothbart, who is due to fly to Europe later this week."

Nicole Richie, The Enemy Of Special Agent Sarah Walker

By Marie Miller

Nicole Richie, mother of a five-month-old baby and designer of a line of jewelry, got a guest starring role on the famous NBC comedy “Chuck.”

The former “Simple Life” star will play the role of Special Agent Sarah Walker’s archenemy. They haven’t seen each other for ten years, since they finished high school, and are about to meet at the reunion all former students will attend.

Nicole will play a "snarky and spiteful girl" and, according to executive producer Josh Schwartz, "this role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. t's going to be really fun."

Nicole is thought to easily walk into the character’s shoes because she impressed at the audition for the part and also because it isn’t the first time she proves the public her acting talent.

In the past years, she appeared in other TV shows as a guest star, for instance "8 Simple Rules … for Dating My Teenage Daughter" and "American Dreams." In addition to this, she managed to have her own reality show, co-starring with her renowned friend, Paris Hilton.

Sometime in the past, E! Network said in a statement: "The Simple Life has been a wonderful addition to the E! Schedule for two years and we will always be grateful to Paris and Nicole for their hard work and graciousness."

Despite all the publicity the two starlets received lately, the show’s ratings dropped low enough and, as a consequence, E! Network cancelled Paris and Nicole's former hit show.

TELL ME ABOUT IT Couple must sort out their deferences

By CAROLYN HAX

Dear Carolyn: I'm dating a wonderful woman who is a perfect match -- except we're not the same religion.

I'm fine with her choices and more than happy to support them. Except that's not enough; I'm expected to convert, too.

I think this is part of her "princess fantasy" of what a wedding and happily-ever-after would look like, without an appreciation for how life might affect it.

There is a selfish assumption that I be the one to convert. She adamantly will never consider doing so for me -- not that I'd expect her to. It's the whole "you sacrifice and I don't" thing that bothers me, when I think couples should be about shared sacrifices.

I am also concerned about a possible social chill on my family and friends, who are also not of this same religion.

I'm feeling pushed to decide, even though by her own admission it took her 20-plus years to become spiritually mature in her beliefs.

-- Chicago

Dear Chicago: If this were just about faith, I imagine it would be an easier decision.

But you're conflating faith, fairness, character, intolerance and those dubious perfection claims, and knotting them with astonishing communication problems.

The following questions either end the discussion or lead to the next question:

1. Is your faith such that converting is even possible?

2. Is she worth leaving your faith, or is your faith worth leaving her?

3. Do you believe in her enough, and in her rationale, to convert gladly?

If you're doubting, then:

4. Consider context. "Shared sacrifices" don't mean that each of you budges exactly 50 percent. Sometimes it means you cave this time, and she caves on something else you're adamant about -- assuming both of you really mean it, and aren't just caving to preserve harmony.

If you question her commitment to that, then:

5. You suspend this inner dialogue and start talking to her. "How would you define 'shared sacrifices'?" Discuss.

If you do trust each other, then:

6. You both figure out what foreseeable changes marriage would entail. Don't blow past the little things. Life with someone is an accumulation of little things.

7. You both weigh whether you're ready to adjust for each other.

The best way to decide is for you both to know yourselves. Then, show each other exactly what that means, without obstructing the view.

Unlike Rest Of World, Sarah Larson Shocked To Learn She Was Little More Than Clooney Arm Candy

Even though she spent nearly a year silently standing by George Clooney's side at movie premieres and on jaunts to the United Nations, it seems that Sarah Larson forgot the first rule about Being George Clooney's Girlfriend. Namely, you do not talk about Being George Clooney's Girlfriend. Just days after her extensive interview with Harper's Bazaar hit the stands — one in which she confessed that "I don't think [George] has any trouble getting anything he wants" — she suddenly and quickly found herself on the receiving end of that maxim. Unfortunately for her, she learned that what Clooney wanted was for her to give back his garage door opener and hitchhike her way back to Vegas. Now, details have begun to emerge from the Larson camp about their breakup, ones that predictably cast a sympathetic light on the comely sandworm emulator. Serving as part of a vast right-wing conspiracy against noted lefty Clooney, Fox News reports:

“She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped,” a friend said. “She’s really upset. Devastated.”

As things got serious with Clooney, Larson had moved into his Los Angeles mansion, subletting her home in Las Vegas. Tongues wagged that she might be "the one" when he took her to the Oscars this year.

"She’s totally heartbroken and doesn’t deserve this,” a friend said. “It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans.”

Turns out those plans called for little more than Larson to find the nearest WiFi hotspot, enabling her to surf Yellowpages.com to find the number of a local U-Haul with an available truck. You see, Clooney has a history of dating women that are young, pretty and anonymous. From Celine Balitran to Krista Allen, once people in the fly-over states begin to recognize the name of the girl who he's schtupping, history and habit dictates that Clooney lowers the boom on them. And although we're pretty positive that The Charming One will never publicly address the reasons behind the breakup, we're pretty sure that her sketchy past and the anonymous phone calls left on Clooney's visual voicemail didn't help her cause much.

DENISE RICHARDS - RICHARDS BLAMES MEDIA FOR SAMBORA SPLIT

DENISE RICHARDS is convinced her relationship with BON JOVI star RICHIE SAMBORA only broke down because the media accused her of breaking up his marriage.
Richards began dating the Bon Jovi guitarist after she split from her former husband Charlie Sheen in 2006 - just months after he ended his 11-year marriage to her friend Heather Locklear.
The Wild Things star was the focus of many press reports accusing her of coming between Sambora and Locklear - and Richards blames the media's depiction of her for putting a major strain on their year-long romance.
She tells U.S. talkshow host Larry King, "They (Sambora and Locklear) were getting divorced; he and I were friends and it happened. And she had moved on. She was already involved with someone else at the time.
"It (the press coverage) affected, I think, the circumstances. It was very difficult to sustain a relationship. We were so slammed in the press. We were dealing with our parents dying. We were going through very difficult divorces and custody and it put a strain on our relationship. I regret the timing, perhaps, and I feel terrible anyone that was hurt and involved. But I did not split up their marriage."

Miley Cyrus doesn’t want to end up like other child stars

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus says she’s determined not to fall victim to the trappings of celebrity in the way other child stars like Britney Spears have.

“I definitely try to steer away from it as much as I can, but it’s all around me,” she says in an interview with Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “I think it’s more of a personal battle really.

“You have to know what you feel and what’s in your heart.

“But I’m more of a positive person. I’ve always wanted to be a positive role model and that’s what I want to continue to be.”

The 15-year-old ‘Hannah Montana’ star — who was last week at the center of controversy following the publication of her risqué photoshoot for Vanity Fair magazine — says she relies on her guitar to help her through the tough times.

Adds Miley, “My guitar is like my best friend. My guitar can get me through anything. If I can sit down and write an amazing song with my guitar about what’s going on in life, then that’s the greatest therapy for me.”

Miley is fast becoming one of the biggest stars in America, she became an overnight success when Hannah Montana first aired in 2006—and with a clothing line; merchandise; perfume; album sales; a book deal; and movies, the teenager from Tennessee has made a small fortune.

But despite all the trappings of success, Miley is determined to keep her feet firmly on the ground.

“It’s pretty crazy and life is going so fast. I never have the chance to slow down, but I’m having a lot of fun and that’s what you’ve got to keep in mind,” she says.

“As long as you’re having fun, then that’s all you can do.

“Whatever happens, I want to make sure my family is all set.

“Once I’m a little bit older I want to make sure my family is safe and get my parents a nice house and make sure they’re good and settled.”

The teen-superstar also denied rumors she’s dating Nick Jonas, the youngest member of the up-and-coming Jonas Brothers — saying she’s “too much to handle”, and insisting she’s single.

“I think I’m too much to handle right now,” she says.

“There’s so much going on in my life at the moment with traveling and there’s always cameras following me — all that kind of stuff. I don’t think it’s great for dating anyone.

“There are guys who I like to hang out with, but I like to be the girl who no one can get. I think that’s always hotter anyway. It’s more attractive to be the person everyone talks about.”

Are Paris Hilton and Benji Madden engaged?

There are three reasons I ask this:

1. Paris Hilton was snapped out shopping yesterday wearing a huge sparkler on her engagement ring finger.

2. Benji Madden told E! that that although he and Paris have only been dating a few months, "I always knew that she was, like, wife material, or serious girlfriend material," and that he wouldn't "bet against" the pair of them being engaged before the year is out.

3. Celebrities do tend to get engaged after only dating each other for a few months.

'Brothers & Sisters,' 'Ugly Betty' win GLAAD awards again

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two ABC series were in repeats — as winners — at the annual awards honoring good work in media presentations of gays and lesbians.

"Brothers & Sisters" and "Ugly Betty" received awards for outstanding drama and comedy series during the 19th annual Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Awards at the Kodak Theatre on Saturday night.

Both shows, which feature openly gay or transsexual regular characters, received the same awards last year from GLAAD.

On "Brothers & Sisters," Matthew Rhys plays Kevin, a lawyer sibling whose dating life is frequently depicted on the drama. "Ugly Betty" features Marc St. James, the flamboyantly gay assistant played by Michael Urie, as well as Alexis Meade, the transsexual editor played by Rebecca Romijn.

Other winners included Bravo's "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" for outstanding reality program, Janet Jackson for the Vanguard Award and Rufus Wainwright for the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, in honor of the late casting director who fought homophobia in the entertainment industry.

According to GLAAD, the awards honor individuals and projects in media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives. The awards are split into four ceremonies, held in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and San Francisco in March, April and May.

Christina Ricci: All grown up and in a hurry

By Gill Pringle

Friday April 25 2008

Christina Ricci was the bug-eyed child-star of the Addams Family movies, but has blossomed since then
By Gill Pringle

Friday, 25 April 2008

At 28 years old, Christina Ricci today emerges as the unlikely poster-child for child actors. Making her splashy big screen debut opposite Cher and Winona Ryder in Mermaids (1990) aged nine, she has since starred in 40 movies. An unconventional-looking child, Ricci's expansive forehead and huge eyes initially typecast her as an oddball in family films like The Addams Family (1991) and Casper (1995) but, by the age of 15, she had shaken off earlier preconceptions with a small role in Anjelica Huston's harrowing tale of child abuse, Bastard Out of Carolina (1996).

The film hinted at more dramatic potential than Hollywood had previously given her credit for, and, before leaving her twenties, she had turned in complex performances as Kevin Kline's nymphomaniac daughter in The Ice Storm (1997), a laundromat worker who finds fame in John Waters' sweetly subversive comedy Pecker (1998), and a manipulative teen who seduces her gay brother's lover in The Opposite of Sex (1998), earning herself a Golden Globe nomination.

While family problems and substance abuse have blighted the adult careers of many a former child star, Ricci shimmied effortlessly through her own coming of age. Not that she claims any superiority over her beleaguered colleagues: "I'm not someone who deigns to think that my way of living is something I should tell other people to do. I stay out of the tabloids because I literally don't go anywhere at night. I'm a day-time celebrity," says the actress, who nevertheless claims to have at least three paparazzi who regularly stake out her home.

Ask how she has managed to avoid many of young Hollywood's familiar pitfalls, and Ricci smiles: "It may seem like that but I've had my own share of problems, including anorexia and depression. These are things you can't always deal with alone so I went to therapy. Sometimes people need to seek professional help. Along the way I discovered that you can choose to be happy. If you choose to let go of your self-consciousness and insecurities about physical appearance, then you'll get to a place where you are present to see the world and enjoy yourself.

"I think the reason why many child stars don't make it is that it's hard to see someone as cute, and then all of a sudden they become adults. In hindsight, I was lucky that, when I was younger, nobody thought of me as cute."

Sympathetic to today's young actresses, she says: "When I was that age, that nightclubbing age, I was living in New York. And I went to the bars and clubs and everything, and made all the mistakes one needs to make, going through that age; and was as silly as I needed to be, because there wasn't really that kind of tabloid culture then. This sort of blood-lust, almost, is fairly new. When I was going through that five or 10 years ago, you could make mistakes without someone there taking a photograph."

Likewise, Ricci isn't naive enough to believe that certain actresses don't actively court such attention: "I do think that if you don't want to be photographed, there are certain places where you don't need to go."

Ricci is currently starring in the Wachowski brothers' action family flick Speed Racer. Featuring Emile Hirsch in the title role, Speed Racer isn't Ricci's usual film fare – it's a big-budget, glossy affair, laden with special effects, and featuring CGI race cars and a chimp dressed in clothes.

Unabashed about her motivations, she says: "In order to get the film roles that I love, and in order to have the career I ultimately want to have, you have to have a certain amount of box-office success, to be offered those roles. You know, there could be a horror film and then you're offered some totally intense, Elizabethan drama. And neither has anything to do with the other, but all they care about really is that your last movie grossed whatever it grossed. So for a while I've been trying to get into bigger films."

Even more odd is to witness an outspoken feminist such as Ricci decked out like a living doll in pink and red for her role as Trixie, Speed's devoted girlfriend. "On the contrary, I loved playing Trixie because she's truly what feminism is all about," Ricci says. "She does everything the boys do, but at the same time she's the girliest girl ever. She has a special outfit for each activity, and her lipstick always matches her hairclips or her T-shirt or shoes. Yet she still does everything the boys do – like she flies a helicopter; she strategises with the boys; she kung-fu fights with them, and even races in a rally. She's actually a great role-model character for girls because she's smart and funny."

So while Ricci's coiffed, designer-clad image will be plastered around the media for the coming month, for the most part she stays strictly beneath the radar. In an effort to further her creative goals, she formed her own production company eight years ago, both producing and starring in the well-received indie films Prozac Nation and Pumpkin. And she works with RAINN (Rape Abuse Incest National Network), lobbying on Capitol Hill for funding to process massive backlogs of rape kits.

She was the fourth child born to former model Sarah Murdoch and psychiatrist-turned-lawyer Ralph Ricci; her parents divorced when she was 13. Born in California, she spent most of her childhood in the middle class town of Montclair, New Jersey, where her then psychiatrist father specialised in primal-shrieking therapy. As a child, she would hear his patients' screams through the vents in her room, later re-enacting them for her mother.

All three of her elder siblings were approached by talent scouts as children, although their parents refused to let Hollywood corrupt their offspring. "We're a very loud, talkative family, so I guess that's why all of us received so much attention. So when I was approached by an agent when I was seven, my two brothers and sister begged our parents to let me take a shot at it. All four of us may have been actors today, although I don't think my siblings regret it for a moment. They're all happy and fulfilled with their own lives," says Ricci, who employs her sister Pia at her production company.

Having frequently discussed her insecurity over her unusual looks, Ricci today has the last laugh: "Seriously, if I was just starting out in this business, I'd probably have to lose 20lb. As a teenager, my favourite rejection was 'She looks too healthy', which, of course, translates as: 'she needs to lose weight'. But I never had any illusions. I knew I'd never be cast as the pretty girl. I went through an awkward adolescence and had braces. This business is all about appearances, which leaves a lot of the more interesting roles to actresses like me."

If Ricci doesn't consider herself among Hollywood's prettiest actress, then it hasn't adversely affected her love-life. Previously attached to actors Orlando Bloom and Adam Goldberg (in whose directorial debut, I Love Your Work, she starred in 2003), she is now dating the Australian actor Kick Gurry, whom she met a year ago on the Berlin set of Speed Racer. But, having regretted publicly declaring her desire to start a family while dating Goldberg, she's learnt from previous mistakes. She now takes a more traditional approach to such questions: "Kick is a very good friend."

'Speed Racer' opens on 9 May

Janet Jackson's Keys crush

Janet Jackson has a crush on Alicia Keys.

The 'Together Again' star - who has been dating record producer Jermaine Dupri since 2002 - thinks Alicia is "wonderful" and admires both her beauty and talent.

When asked who she would have a lesbian fling with, Janet replied: "I think I would pick Alicia Keys. I think she's wonderful."

Comment on this Article
Janet believes people often question the sexual orientation of Alicia and US TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey because they are such "strong" characters.

She explained: "They are strong women. Maybe they want to put something else behind it because of the strength. Like, you can't be a woman and be strong, and there has to be something else to it."

Although Janet is happy to speculate about lesbian flings, she insists she would be devastated if Jermaine revealed he was gay.

She added to US TV network E!: "I'd be upset because I want to be with him! It's so funny because I joke with him, 'It drives me crazy to be a girl sometimes, so in my next life I'm going to come back as a guy, and you're going to be my b***h!' "

Is that really you, Hermoine? Fears for Emma Watson as she comes of age

With much tut-tutting and anguished sighs of desperation, Emma Watson has been perusing her wardrobe in preparation for her long-awaited 18th birthday party this week.

While other girls her age might be happy with a new outfit from Topshop or Zara, the sophisticated Miss Watson has turned up her delicate, retrousse nose at the rows of couture Chanel and Chloe already hanging on her designer rails and declared them totally unsuitable for the occasion.

have been protracted and occasionally fraught discussions with her personal stylist and at least one moment when she became so exasperated by her inability to find the perfect ensemble she considered opting for jeans and her favourite multi-coloured Converse baseball boots.

But after several shopping sprees, plus the usual private audiences - reserved for stars of her ilk - at some of the most exclusive fashion houses in London, the actress (better known as Harry Potter's sensible sidekick Hermione Granger) has finally decided on the perfect melange.

Not even her closest friends are permitted to know the full details of the expensive creation she will wear for her big night.

But Emma, who this month is pictured in both British and American Vogue, is determined her look should be utterly show-stopping.

No expense will be spared (although with a reported £8 million in the bank, she's hardly likely to be left short).

And by way of an early birthday present to herself, she has already picked out an as yet unrevealed new and suitably girly run-around after passing her driving test in January.

This girl won't lose her head

Natalie Portman, who refuses to play the fame game, writes Helen Barlow.

Natalie Portman is hardly your out-of-control young diva who dominates the tabloids with her antics.

If anything, the 26-year-old Israeli-born American actress, who has a degree in psychology from Harvard and grew up in front of the cameras, is a little too serious.

So, today, in an attempt to break down a little of her guard, I ask about her shoes. Her own line of vegan shoes, that is.

Wearing a brilliant yellow top and scarf and beige slacks, she raises her foot to reveal the ballet flats she is wearing.

"Most of the shoes [in the range] are heels because it's very hard to find vegan evening shoes," she says. "So I was, like, let's just make all my favourite shoes that I always wish I had, but with no animal materials in them."

Portman readily admits that she enjoys fashion. And fashion likes her - she is the muse of New York designer Zac Posen and a long-time friend of Isaac Mizrahi.

"I really love beautiful things and I actually don't take issue with borrowing things for premieres. I don't see it as me buying into consumerism because I really don't shop at all. I'm obviously lucky to be in a position where people give me things."

She is, however, not into hoarding and views stockpiling possessions as one of the world's ills.

"It's absurd: I have 400 pairs of shoes. I can't keep them all, so every six months I take half my stuff and I give it away," she says.

"One person who lives in the Ugandan village I visited in August [as part of her work for the Foundation for International Community Assistance] can be saved by having one pair of shoes. They walk barefoot everywhere and they've got ringworm which makes them more susceptible to malaria and that's how they die."

Weren't we just talking about fashion? Portman has a way of turning things around - even when it comes to her latest movie, The Other Boleyn Girl. She plays Anne Boleyn, the ambitious young woman who became the second wife of King Henry VIII (played by Eric Bana) after initially vying with her little-known younger sister, Mary (Scarlett Johansson), for his affection.

"By all accounts, it was very much a relationship of the mind," she says. "Henry was an incredibly scholarly man. He was a great musician and a great writer and Anne was really his intellectual match. There were constant reports of them chatting away in the corner of the room. The fact that he changed the religion of the country was clearly so that she could marry him. The philosophical and religious discussions they were having led to that decision."

Is a man's intelligence a high priority for her?

"I think the ideal is to have it all. You can have the intellectual companionship, but you also want the humour, the emotional side, the sexual side. But it's hard to ask one person to be everything. It's near impossible. I read an article in The [New York] Times saying that your partner now has to be everything and that it's ruining relationships."

King Henry certainly didn't believe his partner had to be all things to him, she says. "There was a definite division between his mind and his body; I think between Anne and Mary."

In the film, King Henry's court is painted as a sexual circus and there are clear parallels with Hollywood. At the Berlin International Film Festival, where our interview takes place, Bana hilariously refers to Henry as "the Hugh Hefner of the 16th century with a castle as his Playboy mansion."

Portman is not a circus creature in any way. She surrounds herself with like-minded types, among them Jake Gyllenhaal and Gael Garcia Bernal, her only famous boyfriend on public record. The couple reportedly split when the Mexican heart-throb chose to take his parents rather than Portman to Cannes in 2004. Portman made it to the festival the following year - to promote Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith. She also brought with her a new boyfriend, Liron Levo, her co-star in the Israeli film Free Zone.

The Levo relationship is now a thing of the past and Portman is dating former model and billionaire designer Nathan Bogle. And he suits her fine. It's tough being with another famous actor, she says.

"You're double as interesting to the press and if you break up then you have to see their face all over the place, which is hard. And you have to hear about [their] new relationships and that's not fun either."

Mostly, Portman will not discuss her private life. "It's not that I don't party, it's just that I'm not going to party where I know the paparazzi hang out. LA's harder, but in New York it's not bad. They're on one block and if you don't go there, it's fine."

Portman has just completed her first film with Gyllenhaal, a remake of Susanne Bier's Danish film Brothers. "I've been friends with Jake a really long time, so that was really exciting," she says. She has considered Lukas Haas "one of her best friends" since they appeared together in Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You in 1996 and after appearing with Norah Jones in My Blueberry Nights (not yet released here) Portman counts the singer as another close friend.

Working on The Other Boleyn Girl revealed the similarities between Portman and Johansson. This is partly due to their Jewish heritage, she says. "We both move our hands around a lot," she says.

"I don't have any friend I can relate to in the same way as Scarlett. I'm 26, I've been making movies for 15 years and I'm more experienced than everyone I work with. It's a weird situation that we've both found ourselves in."

Johansson, in fact, received her break in 1997 when Portman dropped out of Robert Redford's film The Horse Whisperer to appear in The Diary Of Anne Frank on Broadway. Portman now has the more substantial role in The Other Boleyn Girl and while Johansson recalls struggling to breathe in the tight period frocks, Portman didn't mind. "I get so excited to have any sort of cleavage. There are no complaints on my end," she says.

It is not lost on her that in the film she plays the mother of one of her favourite actresses, Cate Blanchett, given that the Australian star has made Elizabeth I her own.

"Well, that's right, I have an Australian daughter," she quips.

Portman has even come to appreciate the Down Under sense of humour, thanks to her work with Australians. She bonded with Rose Byrne on Star Wars, with Hugo Weaving in V For Vendetta. "And Eeerric," she interjects with mock distain, when referring to her latest co-star, "he takes the piss out of everything."

Portman has compered the legendary live comedy program Saturday Night Live and has a lively comedic repartee when she gets going. Bana became the victim of this wit at their Berlin press conference.

"He was saying how we were all cycling together so I just made a stupid joke about how he could never find a tampon when he needed one." For once, the talkative Australian was lost for words.

So why don't we see her in comedies? "I'm really picky about comedy stuff. I find many dramatic scripts that I believe in but, somehow, with comedy, it takes a lot to make me laugh. I think you have to be even truer in comedy to make it work."

Portman is an only child. Her Israeli doctor father and American artist mother moved with her to the US when Portman was three. It was only two years ago that Portman moved out of the family home and into the East Village.

She has always aimed to keep her distance from prying eyes, ever since she was discovered in a pizza parlour as a child and cast in The Professional. "It was after dance class one day and someone approached me," she recalls. She changed her name from Hershlag to her grandmother's maiden name. "I have a different name on my credit card, my driver's license and my passport, so it gives me a real level of privacy," she says.

Portman considers herself American rather Israeli and, while not a practising Jew, she says she is "culturally Jewish" and plans to raise her children in the Jewish faith.

She returned to Jerusalem in 2004 for a semester at university and was able to avoid the media completely and live a normal life. She has always cultivated a life away from the cameras, even as she was growing up on movie sets.

"I don't think I missed childhood, I just had a different childhood. I had a really interesting one where I got to travel, meet people and learn all kinds of things. I got to live in France when I was 12 for The Professional, I learned to ice-skate when I was 13 for Beautiful Girls and I was lucky enough to have a stable household where my parents were protective and focused on my schooling and kept me away from the nonsense of it [show biz]."

She decided early that negative portrayals of women were not her style. She turned down Adrian Lyne's 1997 remake of Lolita because it was "too sleazy". Her savvy, sexy 12-year-old orphan from The Professional has attracted far more attention than her Star Wars princess. She was the only actor to know the story of the three Star Wars prequels in advance - or she wouldn't commit.

In recent years she has been broadening her range. Dancing around a pole as a stripper in Closer certainly showed her in a new light and even if the nude scene was cut from the film Portman asserted herself as a fully-fledged adult star for the first time. She even received an Oscar nomination. She shaved her head for the politically motivated V For Vendetta and gained attention with her sympathetic turn in Garden State. She again did a kind of striptease for a raunchy love scene with Jason Schwartzman in Wes Anderson's short film, Hotel Chevalier. She is keen to direct and is planning to adapt Israeli writer Amos Oz's autobiography, A Tale Of Love And Darkness, for the screen. That is some time off, she says.

Portman also takes a stand on political and humanitarian issues. She campaigned for John Kerry in the last presidential election and is a supporter of Hillary Clinton in this one. She is a strong supporter of FINCA, an organisation that gives small loans to women to start their own business in developing countries.

"I have been brought up in a politically aware way," she says. "My dad was always talking politics in the house. I think it's natural when you come from Israel to be engaged in politics; you are obsessed with politics. You're always, like, how can we make the world better?" One imagines that with Portman, unlike so many others in Hollywood, that will never change.

The Other Boleyn Girl opens this Thursday.

Lindsay "Happy" for Her Mom's Show "And Everything"

Her "mom's show!" Isn't it supposed to be all about Ali?
Speaking to Extra about her latest charity effort, a photo exhibit inspired by her tattoos (of which there are apparently seven!) and benefitting the Red Cross, Lindsay also shared a few words about her soon-to-be famous sister.

“I wish her the best," Lindsay said of her lil' Sis. "To keep her head on straight and to stay away from the clubs.”

Cuz if anyone knows about staying away from the clubs, it's Lindsay!

I guess Ali should be careful to do as Lindsay says and not as Lindsay does!

New Couple: Jennifer Aniston & Brian Bouma?

By Brenda Davis
Mar 5, 2008

Jennifer Aniston's hunky new mystery guy now has a name and has been identified. His name is Brian Bouma and reports claim that he is working with Jennifer on the set of her film Traveling. As life goes with Jennifer she has also been linked to Aaron Eckhart, her co-star in the motion picture.
For the last week Brian Bouma (one source is identifying him as Brian Bourma but at IMDb it seems to be spelled Bouma) has been the most wanted man in Hollywood. When Los Angeles photo agency X17 spotted the couple together at Jen's BFF and "Dirt" star Courteney Cox's house the workd went out, who is this guy?

***

It's a bit shocking that it took this long to identify the mystery man as the agency had some pretty good shots of him and they even had some video of a hard driving Aniston moving her Range Rover past the photographers as they tried to get in close for a good shot of the pair.

As everything is with Jennifer there is no confirmation of any relationship as she always desperately tries to keep her private life - well private. We may never know if they are really dating but prepare for all of the stories as they will certainly be on the way.

From zero to hero, online dating pros offer tips

Kenneth Li , Reuters
Published: Thursday, February 14, 2008
NEW YORK (Reuters) - "Long walks on the beach, a passion for music and movies" just isn't going to cut it anymore in the rough and tumble world of online dating.

Struggling at finding love on the Web? Start by blaming your online dating profile, which may contain out-of-date photos, bland descriptions, or one too many white lies. Correcting these common mistakes should go a long way toward avoiding another Valentine's Day alone.

"Look around; you tell me -- how good are profiles these days," said Evan Marc Katz, dating expert and author of "I Can't Believe I'm Buying This Book: A Commonsense Guide to Successful Internet Dating." Katz has written some 500 profiles for clients on his online profile writing service, E-Cyrano.

"People, after years of doing this, they've gotten the message that they've got to do better," he said. "But most people don't know what that means."

Just ask Mark Sweeney how the wrong profile can doom dating. Sweeney, 49, a gay retired mental help aid in upstate New York who bought his first computer last year on friends' recommendations, had been out of the dating scene for seven years.

When he first put up his dating profile, he suffered through a number of bad experiences and mismatches. "People were just looking to regularly exchange with as many people as they can," he said. "They were just perverts."

Sweeney later joined Match.com, which helped him polish his image. "They can help put into words if you're not a good writer."

He said his new and improved profile helped him land a date 3-1/2 months ago with Joe, who lived 30 minutes away. They're heading to Bermuda on a cruise soon.

Still, Sweeney admits, he initially worried that he wouldn't find anyone online. "It was kind of depressing at first," he said.

LOOKING FOR LOVE?

If you're alone, you're in good company. Some 82 million adults were unmarried in the United States in 2000, or about 40 percent of the population, according to the U.S. Census bureau. The unmarried adult population is projected to reach 106 million by 2010.

"There's a lot of people looking for love; they don't know what they don't know," Katz said.

Avoid being one of them by starting out with a few tips.

The profile sprucing begins with the very first line -- your user name. Make it pop, advises Gail Laguna, spokeswoman for Spark Networks, owner of sites including JDate.com, ChristianMingle.com and BlackSingles.com.

Forego generic abbreviations of your name such as JSmith101. Laguna suggested something more expressive, like Live2Laugh or WhiteWaterWarrior.

Experts also suggest that you try to be more specific in your profile. Anyone can say they love candle-lit dinners and sunsets, said Janet Siroto, the editorial director of Match.com, a division of IAC/InterActiveCorp .

"Try to replace them with things that are more specific or unique to you," she said. "If you're a great vegetable gardener, not everyone can say that. You like bluegrass music on weekends, share that."

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are considering adopting an orphan from the actress' hometown of New York.

Amid reports the Oscar winner is pregnant with the couple's third child, Paltrow insists she's eager to follow in the footsteps of pal Madonna and adopt.

She tells the New York Daily News, "We might get one from Brooklyn. No baby is more helpless than another baby. And I'm a New York girl."

Paltrow also plays down her recent hospitalization for a "gastrointestinal situation" insisting she is fully recovered.

She adds, "I feel great -- people made a big deal about nothing."

Kate Moss wedding rumour

Kate Moss is set to make a "special announcement", sparking further speculation she is to wed her rocker lover.

The supermodel - who was recently seen inquiring about weddings at London's Claridge's hotel - is taking her pals to Amsterdam where she is going to tell them some "important news".

A source close to Kate - who has been dating The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince since last August - said: "Kate wanted to go away with five female friends and tell them some important news. She had told them that she wanted to go to Amsterdam to have some girlie fun and also to make a special announcement."

Her friends are speculating the trip could even be her hen night.

The source added: "Some of her mates think it could well be a bachelorette party but Kate won't confess until they are there.

"But knowing Kate and her fun-loving attitude it would be no surprise if it was."

Last week, mother-of-one Kate was seen picking up wedding brochures at Claridge's sparking rumours she plans to hold her nuptials there followed by a lavish reception in one of the many decadent ballrooms.

A source said: "Kate looked radiant when she came by to pick up the wedding brochures. She has the air of a woman who is loved and looked after."
